EARTH MONTH PLANT & PLAY

On April 12, Hunter hosted Niantic to plant over 20 trees  to improve the urban canopy in the Crocker Amazon neighborhood in San Francisco.

SF CLIMATE WEEK: GOING TO BAT FOR THE BAY

For SF Climate Week, Hunter moderated a panel discussion to highlight four organizations that are addressing urgent climate needs in the Bay Area featuring Baykeper, Friends of the Urban Forest, Save the Bay and Refuse Refuse.

Family Plant & Play Summer Service Day 

Presented by:

Little hands, big impact! Over the summer, Hunter hosted 60 volunteers of all ages including special guests from Little Forest Explorers pre-school. With the help of children and adults, the group put over 100 plants in the ground as part of a park improvement project in San Francisco. 

DELOITTE IMPACT DAY

We partnered with Deloitte and Yes SF to host over 70 volunteers for a Pick Up with Pence trash cleanup in downtown San Francisco.

Schoolyard Service Day 

In partnership with Redwood Credit Union and SFUSD, 30 volunteers cleaned, restored, and added green spaces at Tenderloin Community Elementary School to create a safer, greener outdoor area for our youth.

Annual Spooky Clean Up Crawl

Our largest event to date, 100 volunteers came out in Halloween costumes to pick up trash in Golden Gate Park and clean up the surrounding neighborhoods. Hunter hosted the volunteers for an afterparty at Cal Academy's SuperNatural for dinner, a costume contest, and frightful fun!
